For guests

Roomfora is the booking software your venue uses.

If you got a confirmation email, a booking link, or a charge with “Roomfora” on it, you're in the right place. Roomfora isn't a marketplace and we aren't the venue — we're the software the venue uses to take bookings.

Your payment went to the venue's own Stripe account. Your booking is with the venue. We're here to help if something goes sideways — and to answer the questions every booker eventually has.

The 30-second explainer

Three things, plainly.

  1. You booked through a venue's page

The page lived on a Roomfora-hosted URL or the venue's own domain. Either way, you booked the venue, not us.

  2. Stripe processed the payment

The funds went to the venue's own Stripe account. Our fee was deducted on the same charge and itemized on their payout.

  3. Roomfora is the software, not the venue

Think of us like the booking widget on a hotel site — useful, invisible, and not the company you're paying.

On your statement

What is the “Roomfora” charge on my card?

If you see ROOMFORA — or a venue name followed by * ROOMFORA — on your statement, it's the venue's payment processor descriptor.

The money went to the venue's own Stripe account. Roomfora's small fee was deducted on the same transaction. To identify which venue: search your inbox for “Roomfora” — the booking confirmation email lists the venue name, the resource you booked, and the booking time.

If you can't find the email, sign in at roomfora.com/account/sign-in with the same email address — every booking you've ever made on a Roomfora-powered venue is listed there.

Find your booking

Three ways to get back to it.

Search your inbox

Search for “Roomfora” or the venue's name. Every booking sends a confirmation with an .ics calendar attachment.

The link the venue sent

Your booking detail page is linked from the confirmation email. Bookmark it — the link stays valid until the booking ends.

Use /account/sign-in with the same email you booked under. Every booking is listed.

Cancel, reschedule, or refund

The venue's policy is the policy.

Roomfora doesn't override venue cancellation policies — the policy in effect when you booked is the one that applies, and it's shown on your booking detail page.

Flexible

Full refund any time before the booking starts.

Moderate

Full refund up to a cutoff (commonly 24 hours before start). After that, no refund.

Strict

No refunds — the venue commits the resource the moment you book.

How to cancel: Sign in at /account/sign-in, open the booking, and click Cancel. You'll see a refund preview before you confirm. Refunds post back to the original card via Stripe and typically clear in 5–10 business days.
Trust, plainly

The boring stuff that matters.

Your money goes to the venue
Payments land in the venue's own Stripe account first. Roomfora's fee is itemized on every payout — never escrowed, never delayed.
Card data we never see
Stripe handles every payment. Card numbers never touch our servers. TLS 1.3 in transit, PCI-certified at rest.
Real privacy, plainly
Real privacy policy, real sub-processor list, DPA on request. We disclose every vendor that sees your data.
Email a human
hello@roomfora.com reaches a real person at Fika, LLC. We answer every booker question, even when the venue should.
Is Roomfora a marketplace?

No — and that's the point.

If you wanted to search across many venues, marketplaces are the right tool. Roomfora is what venues use when they want you booking them, not a search result.

Marketplaces (Peerspace, LiquidSpace, Splacer, Giggster)

  • You search across many venues on their site.
  • They take a cut (often 15–20%) of every booking.
  • Your relationship is with the marketplace, not the venue.

Roomfora

  • You booked directly with one venue, on its page.
  • Our fee starts at 0.75% — small enough that it doesn't change what the venue charges you.
  • Your relationship is with the venue itself.
FAQ

Common questions, answered straight.

Is Roomfora legit?

Yes. Roomfora is operated by Fika, LLC (dba Roomfora) and is the booking software behind a growing number of independent venues — small-firm offices, churches, photo studios, salons, restaurants. Payments are processed by Stripe, which means your card data is handled by a PCI-certified provider, not by us.

Why was I charged by 'Roomfora'?

If you see Roomfora — or a venue name with Roomfora in the descriptor — on your statement, it means you booked a space through a venue that uses Roomfora's software. The money goes to the venue's own Stripe account, not to Roomfora. Our fee is a small percentage that's deducted on the same charge and itemized on the venue's payout.

How do I cancel a Roomfora booking?

Sign in at roomfora.com/account/sign-in with the same email you used to book. Find your booking, open it, and click Cancel. Whether you receive a refund depends on the venue's cancellation policy (flexible, moderate, or strict) — the policy in effect when you booked is the one that applies, and it's shown on your booking detail page.

Can I get a refund?

Refund eligibility is set by the venue's cancellation policy, not by Roomfora. Flexible policies refund any time before the booking starts. Moderate policies refund up to a cutoff (commonly 24 hours before start). Strict policies don't refund. Your booking detail page shows the exact policy and refund preview before you confirm a cancellation.

I lost my confirmation email. How do I find my booking?

Two options. (1) Search your inbox for 'Roomfora' or the venue's name — every booking sends a confirmation. (2) Sign in at roomfora.com/account/sign-in with the same email you used to book and you'll see every booking you've ever made on a Roomfora-powered venue.

Is my card data safe?

Card numbers never touch Roomfora servers. Every payment is handled by Stripe's PCI-certified infrastructure with TLS 1.3 in transit. We see the payment outcome and the last four digits on receipts; we don't see the full card number, expiration, or CVC.

Does Roomfora have an app?

No, and we don't plan to. The booking page your venue sent you works on every modern browser — phone, tablet, or desktop. Skipping the app means there's nothing to install, nothing to update, and nothing tracking you in the background.

How is Roomfora different from Peerspace or LiquidSpace?

Peerspace, LiquidSpace, Splacer, and Giggster are marketplaces — you search across many venues on their site, and they take a percentage (often 15–20%) of every booking. Roomfora isn't a marketplace. It's the software a venue uses to run its own booking page on its own URL. If you wanted a marketplace, those are the right tools. If you booked directly with a venue, you used Roomfora.

What if my venue ghosted me?

First, contact the venue directly — their email is on your booking confirmation. If you can't reach them, email hello@roomfora.com with your booking ID and we'll help broker a resolution. We can't override the venue's cancellation policy unilaterally, but we can step in when something genuinely went wrong.

Is the venue I booked actually using Roomfora?

If your booking confirmation email came from a Roomfora address, your statement shows Roomfora, or the booking page URL was hosted on Roomfora — yes. We don't publish a directory of venues, because Roomfora is white-label software: the venue is the brand, and Roomfora is the plumbing.

Are you on the other side?

Have unused space? You can host on Roomfora too.

Conference room, studio, classroom, salon chair — if it's bookable, you can list it on your own branded page in under 45 minutes.
